Admission Requirements

CDL Program Requirements

To enroll in our CDL programs, applicants must meet the following basic requirements. Our admissions team is happy to answer questions about your specific situation.

  • Valid state-issued driver's license
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (21 for interstate CDL)
  • Pass a DOT physical examination
  • Pass a drug and alcohol screening
  • No disqualifying criminal history (reviewed case-by-case)
  • Ability to read and speak English sufficiently

Career Readiness Program Requirements

Most programs require participants to be 18 years or older. Youth-focused programs may accept ages 16–24 depending on funding source.

Common Questions

When can I start?

We offer rolling enrollment with new cohorts starting regularly. Contact our admissions team to find the next available start date that fits your schedule.

What documents do I need to bring?

You will need a valid driver's license, proof of residency, Social Security card, and any prior driving records if applicable. Our team will provide a full checklist upon application.

Is financial assistance available?

Yes. We work with students to explore workforce development grants, payment plans, and other financing options. Visit our Financing page or ask your admissions advisor for details.

Can I enroll if I have a prior conviction?

Each situation is reviewed individually. Certain disqualifying offenses under FMCSA regulations may affect CDL eligibility, but we encourage you to contact us to discuss your specific circumstances.

Do you offer evening or weekend classes?
